Terms of Use
The ground rules for using leakdetectionreno.com and for booking leak detection service with Leak Detection Reno — written in plain English.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
1. The Short Version
- This website is informational. Booking happens the old-fashioned way — a phone call or an email — not through a form, an account, or an online checkout.
- Every price we publish is a real published range, and the exact quote for your job is confirmed with you before any work begins. No surprises after the fact.
- Detection visits are quoted flat-rate ($195–$395 for standard residential specialties). Repair work is quoted separately and approved by you first.
- These terms are written to be read by humans. If anything here ever conflicts with a written quote or invoice we issue, that document controls.
2. Who We Are
Leak Detection Reno is a locally owned leak detection and repair company headquartered at 698 N Arlington Ave, Reno, NV 89503. We serve homeowners, property managers, and commercial properties across Reno, Sparks, and the greater Truckee Meadows — nine leak specialties, one flat-rate discipline, and live 24/7 phone answering for emergencies.
References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Leak Detection Reno LLC. References to “you” mean the visitor, caller, or customer using this website or our services.
3. Using This Website
This website exists to help you understand leak symptoms, detection methods, pricing, and our service area before you call. You agree to use it lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or misrepresent your identity to us. The site contains no forms, no logins, and no user-submitted content, so there is nothing here to post, upload, or moderate.
Booking service through this website means calling (755) 227-9923 or emailing leakdetectionreno@gmail.com. Information you share by phone or email is handled under our Privacy Policy.
4. Quotes & Pricing
Prices shown on this website — including our published flat-rate detection range of $195–$395 for most residential specialties — are honest published ranges as of the last updated date above. They are not a binding offer. The exact price for your property is quoted live on the phone or on-site, based on the specialty, property type, and scope you describe, and that quoted price is the price you pay for the detection visit.
Repair work identified during detection is quoted separately, in writing, and only performed after you approve it. If conditions on site differ materially from what was described when the quote was given — concealed construction, unlisted systems, active flooding — we stop and re-quote before continuing. You are never billed for work you did not approve.
5. Appointments & Property Access
Emergency dispatch windows (typically 60–90 minutes across most of the valley) and scheduled windows (7:00 AM–7:00 PM, seven days a week) are good-faith estimates, not guarantees — winter storms in canyon communities, for example, can extend travel time. We will always give you a realistic window when you call and update you if reality disagrees with it.
For on-site work, you agree to provide safe access to the property and the areas reasonably needed to perform the inspection — water heater, meter, fixtures, crawl spaces, and access panels. If we cannot access the relevant areas, the detection fee still covers the diagnostic time performed, and we will document exactly what was ruled out.
6. Payment & Warranty
Detection visits are due at time of service unless other arrangements are stated on your invoice. Repair work is due under the payment terms printed on the written quote you approved. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice, and every job receives itemized documentation you can share with tenants, boards, or your insurance carrier.
Warranty coverage for repair work is stated on your invoice and varies by the type of repair performed. Your invoice and our written findings — not this website — are the authoritative record of what was promised, performed, and warranted for your specific job.
7. Website Content & Ownership
The text, guides, pricing pages, and area guides on this website are the property of Leak Detection Reno LLC and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to our pages freely; reproducing substantial parts of the content for commercial purposes requires our written permission.
Third-party names — TMWA (Truckee Meadows Water Authority), insurance carriers, product brands, or neighborhood associations — are referenced for homeowner guidance only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any utility or carrier unless explicitly stated in writing.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nevada law, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited to nothing — the website is free information — and our liability for services performed is limited to the amounts you paid for those services, except where a written invoice or warranty states otherwise or where Nevada law does not allow the limitation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as delayed repairs by third parties, lost water charges, or property damage that occurred before our arrival.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for our own negligence, for damage we cause while on your property, or for workmanship covered by the warranty on your invoice. This section allocates risk fairly; it does not hide behind boilerplate.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our services, pricing, or website evolve. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes — especially anything affecting pricing terms — will also be communicated on the phone before your next booking, so the version that governs any specific job is the one in effect on the day you book it.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Washoe County, Nevada. We are a local business; you are our neighbor — we would always rather resolve a disagreement with a phone call than a filing.
